She received her BA in English Creative Writing at the University of Houston. She is a former art editor and associate reviews editor for Glass Mountain Magazine, UH’s Undergraduate Literary Magazine. Currently, she is an associate poetry editor for Defunkt Magazine and an associate editor for both the Art and Poetry sections of Space City Underground Magazine. Her blood bleeds purple and her heart bangz screw. Born and raised in Houston and very proud of it.
